Jennifer Ladd - These photos are fantastic! My family and I are in awe of the beautiful shots you captured. We cannot wait to see the rest. Despite weather, the rush and mobs of people, you were such a professional and knew just how to get the good ones. As I look at all these photos, I realize half the time had no idea you were even there! Very slick :) I will reccommend to you everyone in the future and look forward to the family shoot. Thanks a million.

November – 2010 (iPhone Style)

All of these photos were taken in November of 2010 with an iPhone 3G. They are all straight out of camera without any computer manipulation. I use several different photography apps to achieve these looks, but mostly just this one.

Last Days Of Summer

I just realized that I have been completely neglecting my poor blog as of late. A couple pictures of my cute kids should be a great way to get the ball rolling again. I have so many weddings and portraits to share that I don’t even know where to start…. more to come. Enjoy!

Erika & Ryan – Coming Soon

“Hey Jason. I am IN LOVE with the photos! I cannot stop looking at them! Thank you and Shari for
all of your hard work and attention to detail. You really captured the day perfectly and
I couldn’t be happier!… I cannot wait for the next event where we need a photographer because I
will definitely give you a call.
~Erika (Bride)”

A Letter

Shari and I recently photographed the wedding of one of our favorite couples, Carrie and Alex. This morning, I fired up my computer to find this gem waiting in my inbox:

“The memories you captured are amazing and we can’t thank you enough for capturing the radiance andLove of the Bride and Groom as well as the many details of their wedding!!! Thank you for your attention to the wedding guests as well… it was a wonderful and very happy family reunion and it’s great to have this insightful way to remember it!!

We know that having quality photographs was a priority for Carrie and Alex and your outstanding work underlines how important that decision was. We are thrilled and full of gratitude to you and your wife for sharing your artistry!!!

With admiration and appreciation / Sue and Howard / The Happy MOB and FOB”

My wife refers to emails like this as “having your bucket filled”. I couldn’t agree more. This was a much needed midweek pick-me-up and I can’t thank Sue and Howard enough for sending it along. Congratulations to Carrie and Alex on their lovely wedding, their big move across the country and their upcoming new addition to the family.

Stay tuned for a full blog post on Carrie and Alex’s Wedding coming soon…

Featured Album – Nikki & Dave

I just realized while writing this blog post that I’ve been using Leather Craftsmen for 10 years now. I don’t think I will ever get tired of the look and feel of these amazing albums. Nikki and Dave’s LC came in last week and it looks fantastic . It features nearly 80 images in a 10×10 inch, 3500 series flush mount album with black pages and a thin white keyline around each photo. The cover is rustique wine leather that is finished with some elegant embossing along the spine of the book. Thanks to Nikki and Dave for being so great to work with. We hope you enjoy your book for generations to come!
